YOUR MOBILE PHONE MUST BE UNLOCKED TO FUNCTION WITH YOUR CLAY SIM CARD
Note your phone number, PIN and PIN unlock code (PUK) for future reference. Your PIN is provided on the plastic holder of your SIM card.
Make sure you set your handset “Band” or “Frequency”
selection to “Auto” or that you select the correct frequency for the
region you are visiting.
1. Getting Started
Your Clay USA Pre-Paid sim card connects you to the T Mobile network in USA.
Break the Sim card from its plastic transit card > Insert Sim into your “unlocked”
and compatible mobile phone > Switch on your phone > Enter your PIN* > Make your
calls
2. Using your PIN
Code
In USA please use the standard 4-digit PIN every time you switch on your phone. Your PIN is provided on the plastic holder of your SIM card.
3. Making calls:
Your Clay Prepaid USA SIM cards must have credit to make outgoing calls. Always dial numbers with full international code, whether Local or International.
For e.g. To dial a local number in USA - dial the area code and the phone number.
To call India - dial 011 91 followed by the mobile number
Dial 011 91 followed by the city code and the landline number
4. Receiving calls:
It is a USA based mobile number. To call your mobile number, the person just has to dial your number with USA code. i.e. 001 XXXXXXXXXX
5. Using Voice Mail
To setup-Press 9 for mailbox setup, if this shows up as unregistered please dial 217-470-6245
To Reterive Message - Press 1 to retrive messages
6. Checking card
balance
To check you actual balance, please dial 311 and then press 2*
7. Recharge
Go to http://usa.clayprepaid.com To Login, use your Mobile number as username and 8 digits PUK number as password. once logged in the user selects the denomination of recharge and is then directed to a payment gateway where he enters the payment details and recharges his number.
The recharge value is available in $15, $25 $50, $100 only. Therefore, recharge less than $15 is not possible.
8. Conference calling
You may turn any call into a conference call. While on the first call, dial the 10 digit number of the second persion.
Press SEND, the first persion is automatically put on hold while the call is made.
When the 2nd persion answers, press SEND to create a confrence call.
If the second persion does not answer, press the SEND key twice to end the connection and go back to the first persion.
To end the conversations completely, press the Key
